Registration not required but strongly encouraged. This is not just a “how to” workshop for finding a summer internship, it’s also a chance to think about what you really want for your summer. How do things like your major, your interests and all of the things you’re good at shape your goals? Don’t worry, we’ll still cover the basics of finding a summer internship, but a successful summer starts with YOU and so will this workshop! Participants will: • Hear real world perspectives on what skills employers are looking for • Learn how majors connect to careers • Learn how to identify and apply your strengths • Work in small groups to discover the A-Z’s of finding a summer internship Eligibility: First-in-Family undergraduate students in Columbia College, SEAS and General Studies Brought to you by the Center for Career Education, First-in-Family Programs, and First-Generation Low-Income Partnership (FLIP).
