Our Career Trek Program (TREK) offers a unique opportunity for students to explore the world of work beyond New York City.

Career Treks typically involve an overnight stay in another city.

You pay for your transportation to the city, and we cover the rest. While there, students have the opportunity to visit and engage with local alumni, employers, and organizations to learn more about the landscape of work in that city.

Typically, you can expect to interact with 4+ employers during your career trek. Treks will consist of between 20-30 students selected from the applicant pool and involve several employer interactions each day. This program is a great way to learn more about the top organizations that recruit in a new location. Financial assistance is available for students currently on financial aid. CCE will verify financial aid status after you submit your application.

This Spring break, the Career Trek Program will be taking you to Boston!

The Career Trek Program (TREK) is an opportunity to shadow and observe a career professional/alumnus in an industry of interest and explore a potential career path.

Program features include the following:

  • Pre-program training, which includes tips on making the most of the experience, professional dress and etiquette, and networking and career goal setting.
  • Career Trek experience for a two-day overnight trip during spring break, during which you go on several employer site visits, connect with local alumni and have the chance to explore the Boston area.
  • End-of-program reflection session during which you meet to discuss the experience and next steps of career-mapping.
