LionSHARE, powered by Handshake, is our on-campus job board which allows employers to post available jobs and internships to the students and alumni served by the Center for Career Education (CCE). LionSHARE is one of the most effective ways for employers to communicate opportunities and receive student applications directly through the portal. CCE requires all employers to post jobs and internships on LionSHARE.
When you’re ready to post a job or internship on LionSHARE, each organization is required to register for an employer account through Handshake. This account will allow you to connect with Columbia students and post job, internship, and event opportunities.
Posting Approval Process
There is no fee to post in LionSHARE. We review all employer accounts and job postings daily in the order of when requests are received. Your employer account must be approved before a job can be posted. Please note it may take up to 2-3 business days for your job to be approved.
Posting Policies and Procedures
- Review our guidelines and procedures for information on job posting policies, offer and acceptance deadlines, unpaid internships, NACE principles, and more.
- All postings must follow Equal Employment Opportunity Laws, which prohibit discrimination based on race, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information.
- We reserve the right to make a determination on the appropriateness of the positions being offered for Columbia students.
Connect with a Relationship Manager
All employers have the option to connect with the Employer & Alumni Relations Team. The EAR Team consists of relationship managers, who assist employers with on-going campus recruiting efforts. Also, each relationship manager focuses on employers within specific career industries.
