Why is employer research important? 

  • Your research will help you stand out as a candidate. Researching an organization will inform and prepare you so that you can engage in meaningful conversations at networking events and best answer interview questions.
  • Identify organizations that could be a good fit for you. You can learn about a company from its digital footprint. 
  • COVID has disrupted hiring and recruiting, it’s important to broaden horizons outside target companies. The research will help you find key information and learn more about current opportunities at these companies that may be off your radar.
