Alumni share career insight based on their international experiences
In celebration of International Education Week, CCE in collaboration with the International Student Advisory Board, China Global Connections, and the Africa Development Group had an intimate virtual discussion with four alumni located in London, Madrid, New York and Pittsburgh.
International alumni shared their experiences as Columbia students and unique stories about their career paths working for large multinational companies and innovative startups across the US and the world.
Through the conversation, students learned about their major declaration, recruiting experiences in the U.S. and abroad, first jobs out of Columbia, and subsequent career paths, that led to exciting and fulfilling jobs within innovative startups, Duolingo and Headway, and large multinational companies Ikea and Salesforce.
