The Federal Work-Study program is designed to promote part-time employment for students who qualify for help in financing their education. The financial aid office determines eligibility for the program. Students must be United States citizens or Permanent Residents, and must have proven financial need. Many positions, in University departments on the Morningside and Medical Center campus or off campus, complement students’ academic interests. The program runs from July 1 through May of the following academic year. Eligible students should begin their job search at www.fws.columbia.edu.
