The Center for Career Education is currently seeking a Managing Director for the Columbia Bartending Agency & School of Mixology (CBA) for the 2015-2016 Columbia Student Enterprises term. The program is a unique opportunity to learn about and develop valuable entrepreneurship, leadership, and management skills. The participants of the program receive training and develop transferable business skills applicable to all industries.
Managing Directors are paid a yearly salary during their management term. They are also eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of a performance bonus at the end of their term.
Minimum eligibility requirements to apply for the Managing Director position include the following criteria:
- Applicants must be full-time currently enrolled students in one of the following schools: Columbia College, The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, School of General Studies, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, or School of the Arts.
- Applicants must remain full time, current students during the duration of the Columbia Student Enterprises program and must be able to commit to the entire program (March 2015-May 2016).
- Applicants must be in good academic standing.
Ideal candidates will be independently motivated self-starters who have entrepreneurial drive, focus, and a desire to learn in a non-classroom environment.
