The Center for Career Education can offer your organization many resources to help meet your hiring needs!
One of the most effective ways to recruit Columbia University students is to take advantage of our On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) program, which includes On-Campus Interviewing, Career Fairs, Career Nights, and Industry Showcases. Also, we host and assist with on-campus employer events such as information sessions, panels, etc. Connect with a relationship manager on the Employer & Alumni Relations team and use the 2021-2022 Recruiting Calendar [1] to help plan your campus recruiting strategy.
Please contact additional Columbia University Career Centers [2] to reach populations not supported by CCE.
On-Campus Interviews allow you to host your job and internship interviews within the Center for Career Education.
*Fall 2021 — interviews will be held virtually until further notice
CCE allows employers to request on-campus interview dates throughout the academic year. When requesting On-Campus Interview dates please keep in mind the following:
Cancellations: Employers must notify CCE [5]of any cancellations at least 5 business days prior to the date of the interview to receive a full refund. Employers who cancel within the 5 business days will still be responsible for payment in full.
Additionally, please review our Interview, Offer and Acceptance Guidelines [6].
LionSHARE [7], powered by Handshake, reaches over 65,000 current students and alumni. Using LionSHARE, [7] you can post job and internship opportunities, schedule on-campus interviews, register for career fairs, career nights, or industry showcases, and request on-campus and off-campus employer events.
Information Sessions are a great way for you to inform and educate students and alumni about your organization, current openings, your company culture, and industry nuances and trends. It also gives Columbia alumni at your company the opportunity to return to campus, network with current students and promote your brand.
When requesting an Information Session date, please keep in mind the following:
A list of up to date Career Fairs and Events, along with registration, can be found in LionSHARE [9] by going to the left-hand navigation bar, clicking on “Fairs” and searching for “Columbia University.”
These larger-scale events occur annually and are an opportunity for employers to interact with students and alumni. These fairs range in numbers from 50 to over 100 employers and can attract as many as 2,000 students and alumni.
These customized small-scale events create a more tailored opportunity for employers to engage with Columbia students. These events offer a more focused event around a particular industry or theme and typically attract 10-15 employer participants, and about 200 students.
