Capital One Lunch and Learn: Machine Learning and Big Data At Capital One, we are always striving to update the ways in which we develop technology. During this Lunch and Learn, you’ll get to hear first-hand from Lily Amadeo, a data scientist at Capital One, and Rohan Prasad, a software engineer who is a recent graduate from the Technology Development Program. They will be presenting on a real-time decision engine that combines big data with supervised machine learning to establish a personal connection with our customers, enticing them with the most relevant and beneficial advertisements. The goal is to make the customer feel like we’re having a conversation with them, rather than selling them something.
We will also talk about some opportunities about how you can apply for our Technology Program (for seniors), Technology Internship (for juniors) and for our Software Summit (for freshmen and sophomores).
