Senior Chat & Chew: Graduate School
This fall, we held a Senior Chat & Chew event about graduate school over in the East Campus res hall. Seniors stopped by to speak with career counselors about various graduate school-related topics, from thinking about going to graduate school to deciding which programs would be the right choice. They explored whether or not to attend graduate school, if grad school will be needed for their intended career path, evaluating the various factors to consider, as well as recognizing what they need to prepare for graduate school applications.

Students also learned about the resources you can take advantage of on campus to get grad-school ready, from meeting with a career counselor or writing consultant to review personal statements and CVs to connecting with professors to gain insight about programs and fields of studies as well as how to ask for references. We also connected students with information about the pre-professional offices that will support you if you’re interested in going to law or medical school.
