As a first-generation and/or low-income college student you have a lot of skills and life experiences that will help you to succeed in any workplace.

Ever wonder how to tell your story to an employer in a way that highlights your strengths?

The Center for Career Education, First-in-Family Programs, and the Academic Success Program invite you to join us for an alumni panel and small group networking event focused on articulating your story.

In this program, you will:

  1. Hear from alumni about the ways in which their identity played a role in successfully navigating Columbia and the job search.
  2. Learn how your experiences inside and outside the classroom can give you skills that all employers seek.
  3. Network with alumni and your peers in an intimate small group setting.

Whether this is your very first career center event and you are just starting to think about a career or your tenth, all are welcome.

Come begin to connect with the career center and build community at Columbia.
