From government offices, to think tanks, to politicians and the public, there are many voices that play a role in policy-making.

Learn about career paths within the fields of policy and politics at this Industry Showcase hosted by the Center for Career Education, the Women in Law and Politics, and Political Science Student Association.

The event will kick-off with a panel of professionals in a range of job functions discussing their career paths, industry hiring practices and advice for success. Following the panel, students are invited to network with the participating organizations.

Event Format:

  • Panel presentation: 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM
  • Networking: 6:45 PM – 7:30 PM

Refreshments will be available for students and employers.

Attire: Business Casual

Resume: Not required, but we suggest you bring a copy of your resume as an employer may ask to see it.

ELIGIBILITY

Students that attend Columbia College, Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, School of General Studies, Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, School of the Arts.

  • Resume: It is always good practice to have your resume on-hand. Employers may request one.
