Google is excited to invite first and second-year students interested in software engineering careers to Google Career Kickstart on Friday, March 16 at Google NYC!

This event will bring together first and second-year students from the NYC area for an afternoon of problem solving and technical interview prep workshops. Students from several universities and colleges around the NYC area will be joining us. Please see more details below!

Date: Friday, March 16th
Time: 11:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m.
Location: NYC Office, additional details provided upon registration

Don’t forget to register by Friday, March 9th. After the registration deadline, we will reach out to confirm your spot and provide more details.

IMPORTANT: due to space limitations, not everyone who registers may be selected to attend.

Q. I registered! Can I come to the event?
A. Due to limited number of slots, we may not be able to accommodate everyone who registers. If you’re selected, our team will provide your confirmation and additional information.

Q. Do you have to be a current student to participate?
A. Yes, you must be currently enrolled at your university.

Q. What should I wear?
A.
Feel free to be comfortable! We’ll all likely be in Google T-shirts and jeans.

Q. Will transportation be provided?
A. No, transportation will not be provided for this event. We recommend utilizing public transportation and/or carpooling together to Google’s Chelsea Market office.

Q. Will food be provided?
A. We will be providing brunch, snacks and drinks. If you have any dietary restrictions, please note this in the form, and we will be sure to accommodate you.

Q. When will I receive a confirmation about the Google Career Kickstart?
A. After the registration deadline, we will reach out to you with more details by Monday, March 12th. Not all registered students will be selected due to space limitations.

Q. Do I need to bring my own laptop?
A. Yes, please be sure to bring your own laptop and charger. Please direct all other questions to: techstudents@google.com and remember to list Google Career Kickstart in the subject line.
