Register for 2016-2017 Career Fairs & Special Events

Registration for Fall Career Fairs opens on Monday, May 2, 2016 and is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for Fall Industry Showcases opens Wednesday, June 15, 2016. For all Spring Events, registration opens on December 1, 2016.

      Undergraduate Career Fair

      The Undergraduate Career Fair features organizations from many industries including media, marketing, consumer packaged goods, consulting, advertising, finance and more! This event offers employers a unique opportunity to promote internships and full time positions exclusively to Columbia undergraduate students.

      This fair is open to current undergraduate students from the following schools only: Columbia College, Barnard College, Columbia Engineering, and the School of General Studies. Alumni from these 4 schools with a graduation date between 2013 and 2016 are also invited to attend.

      Date: Friday, September 23, 2016
      Time: 12pm-4pm

      Cost to participate:

      • For-Profit Employers: $600
      • Not-for-Profit & Government Employers: $200

      Register after May 2, 2016 by logging into LionSHARE and clicking on the "Fairs" tab in the lefthand menu bar. Once there, you'll be able to select the Fair you'd like to register for, click on the event name, and then hit "Register" on the lefthand side of the screen. Please click here for step-by-step instructions. Please note: Completing this registration does not constitute confirmation of your participation. All firms will be placed on a waitlist once completing registration.       Graduate Student Career Fair

      CCE LogoThe Graduate Student Career Fair will feature organizations from industries including media, finance, consulting, technology and more! This event offers employers a unique opportunity to promote internships and full time positions exclusively to Columbia graduate students (Masters and PhD). 

      This fair is open to current graduate students and alumni from the following schools only: Columbia Engineering, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the School of the Arts. 

      Date: Friday, October 7, 2016
      Time: 12pm-4pm 

      Cost to participate:

      • For-Profit Employers: $600
      • Not-for-Profit & Government Employers: $200
      • Note: Pricing bundles are available for employers that attend the Graduate Student Career Fair, in addition to one other fall semester career fair.

      Register after May 2, 2016 by logging into LionSHARE and clicking on the "Fairs" tab in the lefthand menu bar.       CCE LogoThe Center for Career Education will hold a panel and networking session for consulting firms. The target audience for this event is undergraduate and graduate students.

      Industry Showcase: Beyond the Bulge Bracket

      CCE LogoThe Center for Career Education will hold a panel and networking session geared towards companies with opportunities across a range of financial services. This event is aimed to build student awareness of career opportunities at these firms and to allow the companies to meet enthusiastic and bright Columbia students. The target audience for this event is undergraduate freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in summer internships or full time opportunities.

      Industry Showcase: Leadership Development & Rotational Programs

      CCE LogoThe Center for Career Education will hold a panel and networking session for employers offering leadership programs at their firms. This event is intended to be educational and will include companies from various industries. The session will highlight the value of the training, mentorship, and experience that leadership programs afford interns and entry-level hires early on in their career.

      Asia Pacific Recruiting Night

      CCE LogoThe Center for Career Education will hold a networking session for employers seeking to fill both full time and internship opportunities in the Asia Pacific region. This event is aimed at building student awareness of international career opportunities and allowing employers to meet enthusiastic and bright Columbia undergraduate and graduate students interested in working in the region.

      Engineering Career Fair

      In 2015, over 1,700 students and more than 130 preeminent national and international engineering employers attended the Engineering Career Fair. Employers are welcomed to discuss full-time job opportunities as well as internships. Do not miss this opportunity to interact with students from across Columbia’s campus.

This event will target sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students interested in summer internships and/or full-time opportunities. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the companies in attendance, hear about their available full-time and internship opportunities, and connect directly with company representatives to discuss the variety of job possibilities and career paths that Advertising, Marketing & PR firms hold for every interest area, including consulting & strategy, account / project management, creative, copywriting, and business development.

This event will target sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students interested in summer internships and/or full-time opportunities. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the companies in attendance, hear about their available full-time and internship opportunities, and connect directly with company representatives to discuss the variety of job possibilities and career paths that these industries hold for every interest area, including marketing, public relations, sales, buying, creative and production.

This event will target sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students interested in summer internships and/or full-time opportunities. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the companies in attendance, hear about their available full-time and internship opportunities, and connect directly with company representatives to discuss the variety of job possibilities and career paths that book publishing holds for every interest area including marketing, sales, publicity, design, editorial, legal, and production.

      Spring Career Fair

      spring career fair logoThe Spring Career Fair includes organizations from many industries, including finance, consulting, consumer goods, media, marketing, advertising, and more. This event offers employers an exciting opportunity to pro­mote internships and full-time careers exclusively to Columbia University students and alumni. In 2016, there were  over 1,600 attendees from all of Columbia's schools and over 130 employers!

      The fair is open to both undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni from the following schools: Columbia College, Barnard College, Columbia Engineering, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the School of General Studies, the School of the Arts.

      Startup Career Fair

      startup career fair logoThe Startup Career Fair is focused on connecting startup firms, primarily from the NYC area, with entrepreneurially minded students and alumni at Columbia. Numerous industries are represented including technology, sustainability, media and more. The fair is open to both undergraduate and graduate students and alumni. This event offers employers an exciting opportunity to pro­mote internships and full-time careers exclusively to Columbia University students and alumni. In 2016, there were nearly 700 attendees from all of Columbia's schools and over 50 employers!
