LionSHARE

LionSHARE is a full service on-line recruiting system encompassing job and internship postings, on-campus recruiting opportunities, and events such as employer information sessions and career fairs. The system is for the exclusive use of Columbia students and alumni.

How to Get Started: Go to the LionSHARE login page and use your UNI and password to sign in. Alumni, If you do not know your UNI, please visit the Alumni Affairs website

On-Campus Recruiting (OCR)

Columbia's on-campus recruiting program provides full service recruiting for full-time positions and internships to our undergraduate, graduate, and alumni populations. All on-campus recruiting activity occurs in LionSHARE and to access the this portion of LionSHARE you must first read the OCR policies and procedures and agree to terms of usage.

Fall Semester - Employers hold interviews on-campus for full-time positions. Interviews can take place Mondays through Fridays, September 29th through December 4, 2009. Resume submission deadlines tend to fall two weeks earlier. Please check the Center for Career Education web site regularly for updates.

Spring Semester - Both summer internship and full-time recruitment interviews take place in the spring. Interviews can take place Mondays through Fridays, January 19 through March 26, 2010. Resume submission deadlines tend to fall two weeks earlier. Please check the Center for Career Education web site regularly for updates.

Job Postings

Employers post job opportunities with the Center for Career Education through the LionSHARE system for full-time and part-time positions as well as internships, fellowships and casual on-campus jobs when they are not conducting on-campus interviews. These are posted year round and should be checked regularly. For tips on how to search for job postings please watch our quick tutorial.

Short Term/Temporary Job Postings
Are you looking for a short term or temporary job? Want to help someone with their research? Babysitting? Plan or host an event? Be a Personal Assistant? Or just help moving boxes? If you want to receive these opportunities as a weekly email, be sure to update your LionSHARE profile to indicate your interest.

Employer Presentations

Employers host information sessions/ presentations on Columbia University's campus Monday through Friday during the recruiting season. Attending an employer presentation is an important way to gain insight into what an organization is looking for in its new employees and an opportunity to meet and ask questions of representatives from the organization. Employer presentations begin on September 8, 2009 and run nightly beginning at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m and occasionally on Fridays at noon. Events are being held at Faculty House as well as the CCE Conference Room. Please check LionSHARE as well as the Center for Career Education Web site for a complete list of employer presentations.

Employers @ Lerner Hall

Employers may host a table in Lerner Hall (student union building) Monday through Friday during the recruiting season. These opportunities offer a more personal connection to the employer and allow you to drop by to visit anytime during the hours of their time on campus. Please check LionSHARE as well as the Center for Career Education Web site for a complete list of employer's who will be visit campus on the ramps of Lerner Hall.
