Over the last few months, employers have increased their use of pre-screening tools like Hirevue and Pymetrics to get through their large application pools. These platforms have allowed employers to essentially replace some of the “in-person” interviewing steps they’ve depended on to narrow down their candidate selections. Interestingly enough, these tools can actually be used to the advantage of the individual who’s applying for these roles. As we’ve currently had to transition into this completely virtual space, employers are receiving more applicants and they’ve had to rely heavily on these tools.Read more
