Attend Secrets of a Successful Application Workshop

Different from years past, applying to these programs now requires your attendance at a mandatory Secrets of the Successful Application workshop This workshop is required for anyone interested in applying to the CEO, CU IN, and/or STEP programs. There are 7 opportunities for students to attend this 2-hour workshop.  

This mandatory workshop will discuss:

•    How to enhance your candidacy as a CEO/CU IN/STEP applicant
•    What happens to your application once it is submitted
•    Information about the program.
•    Details of the positions available by city.

Conducted by CCE staff, this program is geared at helping you excel in a candidate screening and maximize your chances of getting called upon for an interview.

Please note, if you do not attend one of the mandatory workshops prior to applying to the program, your application will be withdrawn from the candidate pool.

Studying Abroad in Fall 2010 or Spring 2011?

If you will be abroad during the Fall semester and are interested in applying to CCE’s summer internship programs, you must notify us by sending an email to Liz King at ek2471@columbia.edu . We will email you the link to the mandatory Secrets of the Successful Application “webshop”, which reviews information about the programs, as well as tips for making your application competitive. If you will be abroad during the Spring semester, you can still apply, provided that you have attended the on-campus Secrets of the Successful Application workshop during the Fall.
