Columbia Student Enterprise Managers Featured In The Spec; New York Magazine
October 16, 2009
Student managers from CCE’s Columbia Student Enterprise program have recently been featured in both on and off-campus publications. Columbia Spectator writes about the 2010 edition of student produced publication Inside New York calling it “more comprehensive and visually appealing than ever.” In a feature for New York Magazine Inside New York’s managing director - Sam Reisman - and Bryan Reid, managing director of the Columbia Bartending Agency and School of Mixology, give their picks for the best spots to shop, dine, and hangout around Morningside Heights. Behind the scenes, the Columbia University Tutoring and Translation Agency continues to provide their services to a number of publications and media outlets – including providing translation services to support NBC’s coverage of the Beijing Summer Olympics in 2008.
If you’re interested in learning more about serving as a Managing Director for one of the Columbia Student Enterprise businesses the Center for Career Education will be holding information sessions for positions for the 2010-2011 academic year for all three student agencies: Inside New York, Columbia Bartending Agency, and Columbia University Tutoring and Translating Agency. Sessions will be held on Wednesday October 28th at 5:30 PM and Thursday November 12th at 12:30 PM in the CCE Conference Room. Final applications are due November 29th.
