CCE is Tweeting – Are You Following??
October 08, 2009
Throughout each
week, staff members at the Center for Career
Education post articles, links, and other interesting career
information to CCE's Twitter Account. These articles
could be a great way to kick start a job search, consider a career evaluation,
or to entertain yourself in the quiet hours of an
afternoon.
If you haven't yet been exposed to it, Twitter is an online networking /"micro-blog" site. Every post on Twitter is limited to 140 characters, but many of them contain links to exterior sites, blogs, articles, and so on. Twitter also provides the forum for connecting to other people's "tweets" (in Twitter-lingo, this translates as "following" other people) and creating a rich web of interconnectivity.
CCE's Twitter already has over 350 followers, among whom are students, employers, experts, and professionals. By signing up or logging onto Twitter, you can gain access to all of CCE's posts, which highlight a variety of information. At any given point, for example, ColumbiaCCE has links to helpful job blogs, suggestions for career experts to follow, intriguing internship opportunities, and more.
Don't miss out! Start following ColumbiaCCE on Twitter, and soon you'll be Tweeting to your heart's delight.
