The Average Joe to Polished Pro Series will kick off on October 5th with a workshop on Dining, Dressing and Communicating for Success in the Workplace and Beyond. The next event in the series, Brand Matters: Creating Your Personal Brand, will take place on October 26. At this workshop, students will learn the importance of creating a personal brand and managing an online image. Beth Schoenfeldt of Collective-E, will teach students how to use Search Engine Optimization and will also discuss how online social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, can enhance a job search.
The series will wrap up with a Presentation Skills workshop on November 9th with Adam Grupper of Act Professional. Adam will use engaging improvisational exercises to teach students the art of public speaking.
