This event takes advantage of Columbia's NYC location and burgeoning interest in career opportunities with multilateral governance and development organizations. Over the course of the day each attending organization will make a presentation followed by Q&A addressing their talent needs and career paths in their organization. There is also a career fair aspect to the event where students will have an opportunity to interact informally with representatives of the attending institutions over the course of the day.

Currently the following organizations are registered to attend the 2009 IOD:
EPSO, IMF, Inter-American Development Bank, OECD, UNDP, UNICEF, World Bank, ILO, Columbia University Global Centers, Asian Development Bank and UN Secretariat
