Eligibility

You must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Columbia College, The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science or the School of General Studies or a graduate student at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, School of Architecture, Preservation and Planning, the School of the Arts or the School of Continuing Education.  You must also be able to commit to working 10-20 hours per week for the entire 12 week internship duration.  

Students are only eligible to be part of the CAE program one time throughout their time at Columbia University.  Therefore, students are not eligible to apply for any CAE positions (even with a different CAE employer) once a CAE internship has been completed.

Also, students who are studying abroad are encouraged to apply. Interviews will be conducted over the phone. Please indicate that you are studying abroad in your cover letter. 

*Please note, by submitting an application, you authorize the Center for Career Education to conduct academic, disciplinary and financial aid checks to confirm program eligibility and inform funding decisions. Certain University policy violations may disqualify you from consideration for the CAE program.

How to Apply

CAE 2014 internships will be posted in LionSHARE during the Fall 2013 semester.  Search "CAE" in the "keyword(s)" section to locate all program opportunities. You may apply to up to three (3) positions of interest.

There are four required components to the application:

1. CAE application form (this form only needs to be submitted once)
   The following documents must be submitted through LionSHARE for each position of interest:

4. Transcript (can be unofficial): First-years may use high school transcript and course list from SSOL.
