Adina Levin- CAE Intern, Situation Interactive - Marketing Team Intern

A proud Chicago native, Adina planned on majoring in Economics-Statistics with a concentration in Spanish. While in high school, Adina danced pre-professionally for the Civic Ballet of Chicago. At Columbia, she extended her interest in dance over to the realm of hip-hop, and became a member of Raw Elementz Hip-Hop Dance Troupe. Having also served as a Branch Manager for Ivy Insiders test prep, she was excited to combine her business experience with her passion for the arts in the CAE program.

Her Experience

"Torn between my desire for a liberal arts education and my love of performing, I used to think that a professional career with my Statistics major and a career in the performing arts had to be two discrete entities. Yet through the CAE program, I realized that my education and my passion for the performing arts need not be separate roads, but rather, they can be married into a myriad of different career paths. I had the awesome opportunity to work with people who shared my genuine enthusiasm for dance, theater, music and art and I had first hand experience seeing that there is so much more that goes into a show than just the artists. I specifically came to Columbia yearning to take advantage of the arts mecca that embodies New York City, and after this internship experience, I finally feel not only connected to the arts network, but also ready to take on more - the show must go on!
