
Standard Timeline for On-Campus Interviews
On-Campus Recruiting Time-line
2 weeks before event:
Deadline for students to apply to your position
1 week before event:
You need to access your LionSHARE account to choose the students you wish to interview the day of your event. You change their status from TBD to Preselect. We recommend choosing a few alternates if you can to ensure your schedule fills up.
6 Days before event:
Preselects may begin to sign-up for an interview time in their accounts
4 Days before event:
Alternates may sign up if you have chosen them
2 Days before your event:
Access your LionSHARE account and check on the student schedules. Are there gaps? Are there students you would like to move around? Please contact careereducation@columbia.edu if you need assistance
1 Day before event:
Print the resumes of the students you will be interviewing tomorrow.
Check on the starting time for each interview schedule you have and make sure you are familiar with the schedule.
Print directions for the Center for Career Education
Day of event:
An interview day runs from 9 am to 5 pm. We will have several copies of your schedule when you arrive and you will be given an interview room for the entire length of your stay.
