Creating a new Interfolio account
New dossier service users can register for an Interfolio account (www.Interfolio.com) at any time. Creating a new Interfolio account is simple. Please make sure to select "Columbia University - Dossier Service, Center for Career Education" as your "affiliation" on the Interfolio registration page. The annual account registration and maintenance fee of $19 per year is required. For more information, please visit the Interfolio web site or contact dossierservice@columbia.edu.
Dossier Service users who previously held online accounts with the Center for Career Education Dossier Service have been advised via email (to their address of record) that they should NOT register independently to open new accounts with Interfolio. Columbia's Center for Career Education has already done so on their behalf and their letters of recommendation on record have been added to this Interfolio account. Interfolio notified Columbia's predecessor Dossier Service account holders by e-mail that their new Interfolio account was created and ready for activation. If you held an account with the previous Dossier Service but have not received your new login information, it may be because it was sent to an outdated email address that was not updated. Please email dossierservice@columbia.edu for your login credentials.
Dossiers for Dossier Service users who held an account with the Center for Career Education prior to the service being offered online are held in an archival facility to preserve the integrity of these paper documents. Typically, those dossiers located in the Dossier Service Archive are for users who opened a dossier prior to 2003. Should you wish to have access to a dossier that is located in the Dossier Service Archive please email dossierservice@columbia.edu to request that your credentials be retrieved. These Dossier Service users should also follow the instructions above and register for an Interfolio account (www.Interfolio.com.) Your original Dossier Service paper documents will be added to your new Interfolio account once your dossier is received from the Dossier Service Archive.
