Dossier Service Overview

Access:

Since September 2007, dossier services for Columbia University students (also called "credentials services") have been provided through a partnership between the Center for Career Education and Interfolio, Inc., an on-line, confidential credentials file management service ("Interfolio").

Who is eligible to use the Dossier Service?

Students enrolled in the following schools:

  • Graduate School of Arts and Sciences
  • School of the Arts
  • Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation
  • School of Continuing Education (students enrolled in master's programs and post-baccalaureate certificate programs are eligible)
  • The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science (graduate students only)
  • School of General Studies

Interfolio forwards designated dossier files in connection with applications for opportunities in colleges, universities, independent schools, and industry. We recommend that individuals planning to apply for positions register on-line with Interfolio and open a dossier file at least 18 months prior to their anticipated availability for a position. The Center for Career Education supports users of Interfolio with dedicated personnel.
